ABOUT

We are the Nelson Family  (Jason, Austin, and Bree) from League City, TX.  Jason began performing at age 16.  He played the Texas Opry network for 30 years, playing at various Opry shows around the state.  Bree began singing at the age of 3.  She started learning guitar at age 12 during COVID and began writing songs shortly thereafter.  Austin began performing on stage with Jason at Opry shows at the age of 4.  He learned piano at age 11 and now plays 10 instruments, including acoustic, electric, bass, and steel guitar, drums, fiddle, ukulele, trumpet, & trombone.  Austin began writing songs recently after beginning his freshman year at Texas A&M University.  We cherish the memories we make playing music together, and we give God all of the glory for this tremendous blessing. Music has been and always will be an integral part of our family. According to what Austin said at age 5, "It's in our blood, it's in our soul, and we just can't stop it!" Other friends and family inspired us to start performing.  Jason was inspired by his older brothers, Darin and Troy, who were both musicians.  Austin and Bree were inspired by their dad (Jason) and Uncle Clay.  Austin and Bree blazed the trail on songwriting, as no one else in the family writes songs. We are so thankful for the gift of music and the ability to share it as a family as well as people who allow us to share it with them.
